The Catholic Church project in Hanover, Kansas is supported by Switchgrass Construction Advisors (SCA) through on-call advisory services provided to the Diocese of Salina. The project includes 1,650 SF of general renovation, 575 SF of convent renovation, and 7,500 SF of church renovation.
Founded in 1870 through the early missionary efforts of dedicated priests, the parish quickly took root with the construction of its first church and school. Growth continued with the completion of the present limestone church in 1880, a lasting landmark of faith and craftsmanship. Guided by its early pastors, the campus expanded over the years to include additional school facilities, a rectory, and a convent, becoming a steady and enduring cornerstone of the Hanover community. This project seeks to honor that legacy while supporting thoughtful restoration to ensure its continued use for generations to come.
