Jeremy Niederwerder is the founder and Principal of SwitchGrass, possessing over 23 years of unparalleled experience in Construction Management and Owners’ Representation. He has expertly overseen projects totaling more than $2.75 billion across a wide array of sectors, including education, sports and recreation, commercial, food service, multi-family housing, office projects, governmental, and healthcare.
Jeremy is a proven leader, known for maximizing project value through decisive problem-solving, rigorous cost control, precise scheduling, and effective risk management. His unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and exceptional customer service sets a high standard in the industry. With a strategic vision and a collaborative leadership style, he drives projects from conception to completion, inspiring innovation and teamwork at every stage.
After graduating with a degree in Construction Engineering from Kansas State University, Jeremy amassed invaluable experience in general contracting, dedicating fifteen years to this field, including an impressive ten-year tenure with Mortenson Construction. His work on health-related, governmental, education and sports projects has equipped him with a comprehensive and versatile skill set. Subsequently, he transitioned to the role of owner's representative, where he spent eight years working closely with multiple Kansas based key stakeholders, including five years at Kansas State Athletics.
